Featuring the West Coast’s best BBQ, the 8th Annual Winners’ Circle BBQ Championships will be held on Saturday, March 30, AND SUNDAY, March 31, 2019 at beautiful Santa Anita Park. Talented cooks from all over the United States will compete for TWO California State BBQ Championship titles and some of the highest cash purses in all of the state.
The Santa Anita Winners’ Circle BBQ Championship is NOW a TWO day, high volume event that attracts thousands of attendees. With free event parking at gate 6 and expanded marketing, plus the addition of a FULL FAMILY friendly CARNIVAL we look forward to even greater attendance than ever before! This is a very fast paced, high energy TWO-day foodie mecca. Our past events have received overwhelming praise from our vendors, many who wanted to immediately sign up for future years. Very few vendor spaces will be open for this event in 2019.
People love good BBQ, and they love cool, unique vendor wares. You can showcase your finest items in front of thousands of happy people. And here’s the best part – happy people like to buy those cool vendor products.
If you have a unique, food-related or high-quality product, we encourage you to immediately apply as we will only be accepting a limited number of new vendors. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate any onsite consumable food or drink products/items (shaved ice, kettle corn, ice cream, cookies, cupcakes, etc.), personal protection items, weapons, anything that makes a sudden or excessive noise/sounds/flashes/lights (as this could disturb the horses), or items which are not suited for a family-friendly environment. As well please be advised that Color street nails, Scentsy, Origami Owl, Paparazzi, and other jewelry and fashion accessories items HAVE ALREADY SOLD OUT.
We do encourage vendors with non-onsite consumable food products like BBQ sauces, jerky, nuts, dips, rub, salsa mix, condiments, hot sauces, teas, jams, olive oil, etc. However, these vendors will be required to complete a Temporary Food Facility (TFF) form (which we will send you) and pay the Los Angeles County Environmental Health Department Permit (LAC – EHD) Fee* (In 2018 this was $71, unless you plan to have the public sample your products, then your fee is $101), as well as comply with all of the LAC – EHD requirements, this is non-refundable, and for your convenience added to your vendor fee.
* This fee is waived if you are a U.S. Military Veteran, proof required.
